For me the day was a huge success. There was the inevitable intimidation and in one case a form of bribery. Those I spoke to said they'd come out next time even those who felt intimidated such that they went in. I was pleased with the political support and the pledges of finacial support that have come in already. Best wishes Eddy Coulson

Colleagues, on behalf of the UNISON Quarriers Branch who all work in Voluntary Sector for one of Scotlands largest Charities I send you this message of support. We had to take Industrial Action against our employers on the 25th April in support of our Pay Claim and it worked.
Good Luck in your fight and remain strong.

Having worked many years for both L.B.B and then Fremantle, and am in total support of all staff. Unable to agree to Fremantles new terms and conditions, I chose to pursue a change in career – many of my colleagues are not in a position to make such a choice.
Fremantle have taken advantage of that, and they are therefore forcing experienced and dedicated staff to carry on working under new terms and conditions that they did not want to agree to but by not being in agreement would simply lose them their jobs.
Quality care warrants fair terms and conditions – it’s that simple.
